If you are the same person who wrote ” The chalice and the force” for the UU World, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the article. I am a 68-year-old woman who has been reading science fiction since I was 11 years old. I always thought of it as my “religion” in an odd way and I really like the way you articulated why that was true for me. For years I would watch 2001 a space Odyssey as a spiritual experience! Thank you for a very insightful and interesting article.
